Dr. Cornell graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Providence College before going on to receive her Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in 2012. During her clinical experience, she learned and utilized many different chiropractic techniques, including Diversified adjustments, Flexion-Distraction, and Traction. Dr. Cornell is also certified in Webster Technique. She has experience in different muscle, ligament, and soft tissue techniques, such as Graston and myofascial release, and likes to incorporate rehabilitation into the patient's care. Dr. Cornell's clinical experience includes many different settings such as private practice health centers, outpatient clinics, chronic health care facilities, and in a hospital setting. She gained valuable experience training at the VA Hospital in Canandaigua, NY, at St. Joseph's Neighborhood Health Center in Rochester, NY, and at Monroe Community Hospital in Rochester, NY.
Dr. Cornell has a passion for chiropractic and helping others. She utilizes an evidence-based approach and likes to look at the patient as a whole to discover the cause of the patient's complaint, instead of just treating the symptoms. A former chiropractic patient herself, Dr. Cornell knows the importance of high quality care and how beneficial chiropractic can be for a variety of musculoskeletal complaints. As a runner and former track coach, Dr. Cornell understands the demands of competitive sports and the importance of injury prevention and health maintenance.
Dr. Aoude graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Arts in Medical Science. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic in Bridgeport, CT, graduating magna cum laude, and receiving the Dean’s Award. At UBCC, Dr. Aoude served as the National Legislative Vice-Chair for the Student American Chiropractic Association for one term. While earning his degree, Dr. Aoude completed a clerkship at the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in Newington, CT. He was part of an integrative healthcare system that provided high quality and evidenced-based care to hundreds of veterans with acute and chronic pain conditions.
As an avid sports enthusiast, Dr. Aoude’s goal is to educate, treat, and help support athletes and other patients live an active and healthy lifestyle. He has completed certification with Optogait, FAKTR, and Webster Technique to address deficiencies, postural problems, and asymmetries of the human body. In being a former competitive athlete, he recognizes the demand sports have on the human body. His mission is to ensure that every athlete and patient who visits the clinic leaves with a higher level of physical function and performance.
Dr. Aoude is passionate about educating all of his patients on health and wellness to promote a pain-free lifestyle and prevent long-term health risks. He makes sure to review all the latest literature and health trends to assist his patients in making educated and informed decisions about their health.
